The things people ask us most
Is the measuring service really free?
Yes. We come to your home, measure every window you want covered and show you samples — with no charge and no obligation to order. You only pay once you've agreed a written quote.
How long does it take from order to fitting?
Most orders are made and fitted within two to three weeks of your deposit. Some specialist fabrics and larger whole-house orders take a little longer — we'll give you a realistic date at the quote stage rather than an optimistic one.
What does the €699 full house package actually include?
It covers supply and fitting of blinds for a standard three-bedroom home, using fabrics from our package ranges. Window sizes, the number of windows and your fabric choice all affect the final figure, which is why we measure first and quote in writing. Terms and conditions apply and VAT is added on top.
Can I get blackout blinds for a baby's room?
Yes — we carry a large blackout range across rollers, Romans and day & night blinds. Bear in mind that no blind is completely light-tight at the edges; fitting outside the recess rather than inside it cuts down side light considerably. We'll talk you through it on the day.
Are your blinds child-safe?
Every blind we supply comes with the child-safety devices required under Irish and EU regulations, and our fitters install them properly rather than leaving them in a bag. If you have young children we'll also point you toward cordless and motorised options.
Do you fit blinds in rented apartments?
We do. Perfect Fit blinds clip directly into uPVC window and door frames without a single screw hole, which usually keeps landlords happy. Just mention it when you get in touch.
Do you do offices and commercial premises?
Yes — offices, clinics, salons, schools and rental portfolios. For commercial work we can supply fire-retardant and contract-grade fabrics and work outside business hours where needed.
What happens if something stops working later?
Everything we fit carries a one-year warranty. If a mechanism sticks or a component fails within that period, ring us and we'll come back out — there's no call-out charge for warranty work.
